A Thanksgiving Recipe from The Just One Project
As we approach Thanksgiving, we’re reminded that this holiday is about so much more than just the meal on the table. At The Just One Project, we believe that food is medicine, nourishing both body and spirit. And just as essential as food is the community that brings us together, supports us, and helps us thrive. This Thanksgiving, we’re sharing a recipe that not only promotes health but also celebrates the power of community.

A Story of Community: Sharing Meals, Sharing Strength
In the heart of Southern Nevada, we’re blessed to see the impact of community every day. Just last week, during one of our Pop-Up & Give events, neighbors came together not only to collect groceries but also to share stories, support one another, and show what community really means. A longtime volunteer shared how, during one challenging Thanksgiving, her family received meals from a local food pantry. Now, she gives back every week to ensure others feel the warmth of community she once felt.
This Thanksgiving, we’re reminded that food is medicine for both body and soul. It connects us, restores us, and reminds us that we’re never truly alone. We hope this recipe and story inspire you to enjoy the holiday not just for the food, but for the moments of connection and care that make our community strong.
Join Us in Giving Back
