The Just One Project offers a variety of meaningful ways to give back and make a lasting impact in Southern Nevada. Our volunteers are the heart and soul of our mission, powering the programs that bring fresh food, resources, and hope to those in need. By giving your time, you create a ripple effect of positive change throughout the community. 

Simply put, The Just One Project couldn’t accomplish what we do without the dedication of our incredible volunteers.

Looking for a unique corporate team-building experience? The Just One Project can create customized volunteer days for your team. With opportunities available throughout the week and on Saturdays, and no age requirements for participation, we invite your employees and their families to join us in giving back through hands-on, impactful work.

We also welcome young people who are discovering the joy of volunteering, as well as community members of all abilities who want to experience the volunteer magic at TJOP. Together, we can build stronger connections and make a difference for families across our community.

We serve 10 locations monthly and need many teams, families and individuals to help at each location. You will help unload food pallets and hand out food to our neighbors in need.
Hosted at TJOP HQ — volunteers help distribute fresh, no-cost produce to families, provide nutrition education and recipes, and support health screenings that encourage healthy lifestyles.
Deliver fresh and nutritious groceries directly to clients’ doorsteps who are unable to leave their residences. Our morning routes typically take 2-3 hours.
As a food recovery prep volunteer, you’ll sort and package surplus food, transforming it into fresh, healthy meals for community members in need while supporting sustainability efforts.

Volunteering is Golden

The Just One Project’s Retired Senior Volunteer Program combats senior isolation and strengthens our community through the volunteer service of adults 55+. RSVP offers rewarding volunteer experiences by helping others!

The Just One Project’s RSVP program is gratefully funded by a grant from AmeriCorps. Thank you for keeping our community connected!
