Donyele joined our Leadership Academy with a desire to grow, learn, and take control of her future. The Academy’s comprehensive 90-day program, designed for young adults aged 16 to 20, focuses on leadership, civic engagement, and essential life skills. Through daily self-development sessions, career and education guidance, and lessons in personal finance, Donyele thrived. She embraced every opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute to her community.
Throughout her time in the program, Donyele demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her goals. She not only gained valuable skills but also grew into a confident and capable leader, ready to tackle any challenge that came her way. Her hard work and dedication didn’t go unnoticed.
The Tyrone Thompson Scholarship: A Life-Changing Opportunity
Donyele’s exceptional dedication and exemplary efforts, both within the Leadership Academy and in her broader community involvement, earned her the prestigious Tyrone Thompson Scholarship – a full-ride scholarship to the University of Phoenix.
