Brooke Neubauer
Brooke Neubauer is the visionary founder and CEO of The Just One Project, an organization born from her deep passion for connecting people to make a difference in our community.
With over a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, Brooke’s personal journey has shaped the unique approach she brings to her work. Inspired by her experiences as both a mother and community member, she founded The Just One Project in 2014 as a grassroots initiative—starting out with a single vision to help just one person at a time. Since then, she has built a committed team that has driven the organization's rapid growth, expanding its impact across Southern Nevada.
Under her leadership, The Just One Project has evolved into a leading nonprofit known for its client-centric approach, innovative programs, and partnerships with local government, businesses, civic organizations, and community leaders. Brooke’s deep empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by underserved populations fuel her advocacy for food security, affordable housing, and access to wrap-around services and self-development resources. What started as a small project has blossomed into eight food initiatives, four housing programs, and a youth leadership academy—all aimed at breaking generational cycles and addressing the root causes of food insecurity.
Brooke’s leadership extends beyond the organizational level. As a dynamic advocate, she’s forged relationships and developed solutions that have garnered national recognition. Her work has earned multiple accolades, proclamations and recognition including The Just One Project's Food Rescue Alliance being honored by the Biden-Harris Administration as part of the White House Challenge to End Hunger and Build Healthy Communities (Feb. 2024). These accolades reflect not just Brooke’s professional accomplishments, but also her personal drive to leave the world better than she found it.
As a woman entrepreneur and mother of four, Brooke is especially passionate about creating opportunities for other women and underserved groups, mentoring them to overcome challenges and achieve their potential. She firmly believes that strong, compassionate leadership is about uplifting others, and this philosophy guides her every decision.
She’s also proud to serve on the Nevada State Board of Agriculture, where she continues to advocate for a more connected, healthy community.
