About This Program
Groceries on the Go is a program supported by an ongoing collaboration between The Just One Project and UnitedHealthcare Health Plan of Nevada Medicaid.
This affordable mobile market will be brought into identified food-desert locations to offer neighborhood residents the opportunity to shop for fresh and healthy food close to home.
Food deserts are generally defined as areas that lack access to affordable fruits, vegetables, whole grains and other foods that make up the full range of a healthy diet.

Providing fresh, affordable fruits, vegetables, and whole grains to residents in food deserts, helping them access nutritious options that are otherwise unavailable nearby. We also accept SNAP benefits. 
Clients can choose the foods they want and need, preserving their sense of dignity and control over their own dietary choices. This method fosters independence, self-respect, and overall well-being, enhancing quality of life.
