Meals on Wheels Client Impact Story

A recent internal referral alerted our Meals on Wheels team to a veteran experiencing extreme hardship who had no food available. Our team contacted him immediately, coordinated an emergency meal delivery that same day, and completed the steps needed to enroll him in ongoing Meals on Wheels service. His experience shows an important part of how The Just One Project approaches food access: sometimes the most important thing we can do is recognize an urgent need and respond quickly.
