Support The Just One Project through your donor-advised fund or a gift of securities. Your generosity helps increase access to food, resources, and supportive services for individuals and families across Southern Nevada.
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to recommend grants to nonprofit organizations that align with your philanthropic goals.
If you have an established DAF, you can recommend a one-time or recurring grant to The Just One Project through your fund’s sponsoring organization.
Your support helps strengthen our Food For All and Community Connect programs, creating greater access to essential resources throughout Southern Nevada.
The Just One Project maintains a brokerage account and can accept donations of publicly traded securities, including eligible stocks and other transferable investments.
Donating appreciated securities may offer certain tax advantages, depending on your individual circumstances, while allowing you to support programs that address immediate needs and build long-term stability in our community.
Our Development team can provide the information needed to coordinate a securities transfer with your financial institution.
Your generosity supports our work across two core areas. Together, these programs help meet immediate needs while supporting long-term stability across Southern Nevada.
Expanding access to fresh, nutritious food through community markets, mobile distributions, home deliveries, and food assistance programs.
Connecting individuals and families to resources and personalized support, including housing assistance, workforce development, and case management.

The Just One Project does not provide financial, investment, legal, or tax advice and does not serve as a financial advisor to donors. Information on this page is provided for general educational purposes and should not be considered individualized financial, investment, legal, or tax guidance.
Donors are encouraged to consult their own qualified financial, tax, and legal advisors before making a charitable contribution, recommending a donor-advised fund grant, or transferring securities.
Grants from donor-advised funds are subject to the policies and approval of the sponsoring organization. Contributions to a donor-advised fund and subsequent grants to The Just One Project are treated differently for tax purposes. Donors generally cannot claim an additional charitable deduction when recommending a grant from funds previously contributed to a DAF.
DAF grants must comply with applicable laws and sponsoring organization requirements, including restrictions on grants that provide impermissible benefits to donors or related parties.
The acceptance of securities is subject to The Just One Project’s gift acceptance policies and applicable brokerage requirements. Donors should contact our Development team before initiating a transfer to confirm current transfer instructions and eligibility.
The tax treatment of donated securities depends on several factors, including the type of asset, holding period, valuation, and the donor’s individual circumstances. The Just One Project does not determine the fair market value of donated securities for a donor’s tax reporting purposes.
Charitable contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent permitted by applicable law. Tax benefits are not guaranteed and depend on individual circumstances and current tax regulations.
The Just One Project will provide gift acknowledgments as applicable. Donors are responsible for maintaining required records and completing any applicable tax documentation.
