More Than Just Groceries: Wraparound Support in Action

Food insecurity in Southern Nevada goes beyond missing meals—it often signals deeper challenges like unstable housing, disrupted employment, or lack of access to critical services. At The Just One Project, a Las Vegas‑based nonprofit, we believe the solution must go beyond handing out groceries. That’s why we deliver full‑spectrum wraparound support services alongside our food programs.

Our model combines immediate food access with coordinated case management, housing assistance, job‑readiness training and and strategic partnerships like our collaboration with the Dolores Huerta Resource Center, where residents can access life-changing resources under one roof. Each family we serve receives access to fresh groceries and finds a partner to help them move toward stability. This dual approach lets us address not just the symptom of hunger, but the underlying causes of hardship.

In 2024, we served 302,799 clients and distributed over 5.9 million pounds of groceries across Southern Nevada. These numbers tell one part of the story—but the real impact lies in the lives stabilized, the housing secured, the jobs gained and the dignity restored.

Your donation helps power more than meals. It supports the system of care, outreach and services that ensure Las Vegas families thrive—not just survive.
