Pop Up & Give: Bringing Food Directly to Southern Nevada Neighborhoods
Access to food should not depend on where you live. Yet in Southern Nevada, many neighborhoods lack nearby grocery stores. These areas—often called food deserts—leave families struggling to find affordable, healthy meals.
That’s why The Just One Project launched Pop Up & Give, a mobile food pantry that brings fresh groceries directly into underserved communities.
What Is Pop Up & Give?
Pop Up & Give is part of our Food for All initiative. This program travels across the Las Vegas Valley to deliver food assistance where it’s needed most.
Every month, our team sets up mobile markets at:
- 10 public schools in partnership with Clark County School District (CCSD)
- 55 senior housing communities
Our team brings high-quality grocery items and pantry staples, including food from The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). TEFAP is a federal program that provides no-cost food to low-income individuals and families.
We make it easy to access groceries—no transportation needed.

Asking for help should never feel uncomfortable. At Pop Up & Give events, we work hard to create a non-stigmatized, welcoming environment.
Our friendly volunteers and staff greet every client with respect. The experience is designed to feel more like visiting a neighborhood market than a food pantry.
This approach helps build trust, reduce shame, and strengthen community ties.
